UNDEROATH Triumphant Return in Corpus Christi, TX at Concrete Street Amphitheater May 22 2018

Seeing UNDEROATH live is such a refreshing experience.  They are currently on tour supporting their newest release ERASE ME on the No Fix Tour.  Today's date is almost at the tail end of this current tour,  along with Dance Gavin Dance, Veil of Maya and Currents.

Having never seen them live before, I didn't know what to expect.  I know they have had a loyal following and everyone has been eager for their return to the stage. Before they came out, you could feel the static of excitement in the air and people gossiping about how they have been planning to come tonight for days on weeks. With the lights dimmed, all members slowly walked out to take the stage.  Then all of the sudden, it was almost if lightning exploded on the stage.  Starting off the set with On My Teeth , UNDEROATH clearly made a statement.  Never ever doubt them.

What an introduction.  Across the pit, you could see hundreds of smiling faces all jumping in unison, full of joy and relief that the time had finally come.  As the night continued, UNDEROATH continued their dominating set, giving fans some new and old songs.  It's been a while since I've seen so many people sing and shout together; it was quite deafening.  There was not one face in the crowd that wasn't overwhelmed with happiness at witnessing a triumphant return of the mighty UNDEROARTH.  Hopefully they have a new tour after this one; as there is no way anyone should miss this band live.
